Cookie Policy
This policy explains when PrintWhat stores information on your device and how you can control optional use.
Effective September 8, 2026
How consent works
Essential cookies support security and services you request. They do not require optional consent. Analytics and marketing technologies remain disabled until you actively allow the relevant category. Rejecting optional cookies does not restrict the core service.
You can change or withdraw optional consent at any time through “Cookie settings” in the site footer. A new consent request appears if we materially change the categories or purposes.
Cookies currently used
| Cookie | Purpose | Category | Maximum duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| pw_cookie_consent | Remembers your optional-cookie choices. | Essential | 180 days |
| pw_request_* | Protects access to a private request workspace you opened. | Essential | 30 days |
| pw_admin_session | Authenticates a PrintWhat operator. | Essential | 12 hours |
PrintWhat sets no analytics or advertising cookies. If you allow Analytics, the site records first-party product events such as a page view, completed model search, 3D preview, source click or request-form start. A random identifier is kept in browser session storage until that tab session ends; it is not an account and is not used for advertising.
The analytics database does not store raw search terms, email addresses, uploaded filenames, full referrer URLs or IP addresses. It may store the page path, event type, source platform, result count, external referrer hostname and explicitly supplied UTM campaign labels for up to 180 days. Technical web-server access logs are separate and are used for security, reliability and abuse investigation.
Browser controls and contact
Your browser can also block or delete cookies. Deleting the consent cookie causes the consent request to appear again; deleting a private-workspace cookie may require you to use the secure access link again.
Questions about these technologies can be sent to privacy@printwhat.app.
